Chitwan National Park has long been one the country'
treasures of natural wonders. The park is situated in south central Nepal,
covering 932 sq. km. in the subtropical lowlands of the inner TERAI. The area
comprising the Tikauli forest-from Rapti river to the foothills of the
Mahabharat-extending over an area of 175 sq. km. was declared Mrigakunja in
1959. In 1963, the area south of Rapti river was demarcated as a
rhinoceros sanctuary. The area was gazetted as the country's first National
Park in 1973.

In 1996, an area of 750 sq. km. surrounding the park was
declared a buffer zone which consists of forests and private lands. The park
and the local people jointly initiate community development activities and
manage natural resources in the bufferzone. The Government has made provision
of plowing back 30-50 percent of the park revenue for community development
in the bufferzone

It contains slightly more than 500 one -horned rhinoceros,
approximately 90 royal bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison,
striped hyena, genetic dolphin, an estimated 47 species of mammals, over 500
species of reptiles, 126 species of fish in the park.. It is also the habitat
of the near extent gharries (crocodile) . There are about 90 species of aquatic
life including marsh manger (crocodile). The world here is wild and enchanting,
where even now you can feel the spirit of the time of great explorers. This 932
sq. km. park also holds a place as a world heritage site.
RESORT AND FACILITIES:
We will provide You very awesome and situated in a peaceful and tranquil area
by the bank of Rapati river and just beside the national park entrance.
Accommodation at the resort consists of individual cottages & a safari
building with open verandas set in a green garden full of lovely flowers and
plants. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all
modern amenities. We never provide the room and accommodation our
self because of we believe in your satisfaction and luxury so its your choice
to choose the room but we will provide you best one ever and ever !
A large thatched roof-dining hall is where you will saver our delicious
Nepalese and international cuisine. Our own organic farm to supply fresh
vegetables to the kitchen, and the JUNGLE BAR serves a variety of local and
imported liquors. we promise that the all facilities and service are never
going to underestimate in our side. if there is something you will

Activities
Elephant Back Safari : Travel through open
grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare games. Be on the
lookout for the great one horned rhino, four species of deer, wild boar, sloth
bear, leopard bison and the big one the Royal Bengal tiger.
Canoeing : A typical hand -made dugout canoe will take you for a
ride on the great Rapti River where you can see gavials and marsh mugger
crocodiles basking in the sun and can enjoy watching the many colorful birds.
Jungle Drive: You can taste the wild world on the 4-wheel drive,
deep into the heart of the park for viewing some of the rare species of flora
& fauna.
Jungle walk : you can enjoy a natural walk in the jungle in
safety accompanied by our well -trained naturalist who through ancient groves
of perch in a strategically located with tower (Machan) to observe animals
grazing., drinking at ponds, or resting in the bushes.
Bird watching : Bird lovers will have a wonderful opportunity to
see many species of birds in the early morning as the new day dawns.
Buffer zone village tour : Experience the uniquely culture of the
Tharu people. Relish what their culture is like in the Tharu village museum in
the heart of Sauraha near the resort. For centuries, the Tharus have lived very
close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate
relationship with the nature world. Visit the Tharu village and share their
world with them as you reach out to touch another culture.
Elephant breeding Center: Of all the animals, elephants are the
most graceful. Our naturalist will take you to the Hatisar to demonstrate how
elephant's meals are prepared and how they eat in the elephant Breeding center.
They will explain the nature and habits of elephant.And you can enjoy the twin
born baby elephant.
Swimming & Elephant Bathing: The clear water of Rapti river
tempts you to swim in sunny days either before lunch of after lunch or just
relax beside the serene river and watch the graceful elephants taking a bath.
Folk Dance : After dinner our friendly trained naturalist and
jungle guide are there to make you feel at home and tell you jungle stories.
This follows a breathtaking Tharu stick dance ( A culture program performed by
the ethnic group of Chitwan)
Ox-Card Ride : For those who love old ethnic traditional way of transport,
we have an ox-card that will give you an experience of the unique mode of
transport while finding on the old dirt road near by Tharu village.
Visit to observation tower: Be calm and quiet on the 35- feet high
wooden tower built in the prime location of the park, which offers unique
chance to see the movement of the animals in wilderness.

forest and Sal forest OR Jungle drive to Kasara ( the park's

are brought up at this farm and then later released into the rivers.

6.30 Breakfast 7.00 Bird watching & elephant breeding center one can have
visit through the traditional village. On the way to the breeding center, one
can have lots of chances to see different species of endangered birds. After
then it would be time for us to say good bye with good memories.....But we
never hope we will never see you again :)
